มิถุนายน 7, 2011นำข้าว 84 สายพันธุ์ แปรรูปเป็นอาหารคาว-หวาน (84 rice varieties being transformed into 7 variable forgotten foods and desserts)
ได้ชื่อว่าเป็น “ถิ่นบัวหลวง เมืองรวงข้าว” กาชาดจังหวัดปทุมธานี จึงจับมือศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค พร้อมหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน จัดงาน “กาชาดและของดีเมืองปทุมธานี” เพื่อเผยแพร่ผลผลิตทางการเกษตร และผลิตภัณฑ์เด่นดังของจังหวัดให้เป็นที่รู้จักอย่างแพร่หลาย และยังเป็นการช่วยส่งเสริมอาชีพให้แก่ชาวบ้าน ตลอดจนหารายได้สนับสนุนกาชาดจังหวัดปทุมธานี ระหว่างนี้ถึงวันที่ 29 พ.ค.บริเวณแคสคาต้าชั้นGและอะไลฟ์พาร์ค ฮอลล์ ด้านหน้าศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค
จิตตินันท์ หวั่งหลี รองกรรมการผู้จัดการสายพัฒนาธุรกิจและการตลาด ศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค กล่าวถึงงานที่จัดขึ้นว่า ไม่เพียงแต่จะเป็นการเผยแพร่ผลผลิตทางการเกษตรของจังหวัด ปทุมธานี แต่ยังเป็นการร่วมเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ในปีมหามงคล ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษาครบ 7 รอบ 84 พรรษา ด้วยการจัดนิทรรศการ “7 สิ่งสร้างสรรค์ เฉลิมขวัญ 84 พรรษา” เผยแพร่วิถีชีวิตชุมชน โดยน้อมนำพระราชดำริด้านต่างๆมาเป็นแนวปฏิบัติ รวมทั้งรวบรวมข้าว 84 สายพันธุ์จากทั่วประเทศ อาทิ ข้าวดอกมะลิ 105 จากยโสธร บุรีรัมย์ ร้อยเอ็ด ศรีสะเกษ สุรินทร์ นครพนม หนองคาย, ข้าวพันธุ์ลือโปะโหละ จากแม่ฮ่องสอน, ข้าวพันธุ์สังข์หยด จากพัทลุง ตรัง ระนอง, ข้าวเสาไห้ จากสระบุรี, ข้าวขาวกอเดียว จากพิจิตร ฯลฯ มาร่วมเทิดพระเกียรติ และให้คณะเทคโนโลยีคหกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี นำข้าว 84 สายพันธุ์มาแปรรูปเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์พร้อมปรุงอาหารคาวหวาน 7 ชนิด

สำหรับอาหารคาวหวานทั้ง 7 ชนิดที่ปรุงขึ้นในครั้งนี้ ผศ.เกษรา มานันตพงศ์ หัวหน้าสาขาวิชาอาหารและโภชนาการ ม.ราชมงคลธัญบุรี บอกว่า ล้วนเป็นอาหารภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น มีคุณค่าอาหารครบ แต่กำลังจะถูกลืมและสูญหายเพราะไม่ได้รับความนิยมจึงนำมา เผยแพร่เพื่ออนุรักษ์ไว้ให้เป็นที่รู้จักของคนรุ่นหลัง ประกอบด้วย ข้าวเหนียวหน้านวล ข้าวตู กระยาสารท ข้าวยำม้วน ข้าวปั้น 4 ภาค ยำข้าวทอด และข้าวหมกไก่
นอกจากข้าว 84 สายพันธุ์แล้ว นิทรรศการ 7 สิ่งสร้างสรรค์ เฉลิมขวัญ 84 พรรษา ยังประกอบด้วยการจำลองหมู่บ้านเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง การสาธิตกิจกรรมการส่งเสริมอาชีพ เพื่อลดรายจ่าย เพิ่มรายได้ การจัดแสดงน้ำปรุง น้ำหอมจากดอกไม้ไทยความรู้เรื่องสารสกัดจากพืชสมุนไพรตลอด จนตัวอย่างอาหารตามธาตุเจ้าเรือน อาหารเพื่อสุขภาพ สมุนไพรต้านมะเร็ง ฯลฯ

According to the provincial slogan at Pathumthani saying that “Land of Lotus and Land of Rice”, the Provincial Red Cross Society has collaborated with Future Park Department Store including governmental and private organizations to conduct the “Red Cross Fair and Top Products of Pathumthani Province” aiming to publicize about the agricultural products, to promote careers for community as well as to earn money to the organization itself. The fair is held on until May 29th, 2011 at Casta Area, G Floor and Alive Park Hall, in front of the department store.”
Ms. Jitthinan Wangli, the deputy managing director in the Department of Business Development and Marketing, addressed that “this event has been conducted aiming not only to announce about the agricultural products being found in the community but also to honor His Majesty the King’s gratefulness who always gives his guidance toward people to live happily on the occasion of 84 years anniversary. The event displays his missions and duties via the exhibition under the name “7 Creative Things Cerebrating HM’s 84 Years Old”. In addition, the holder team has gathered 84 Thai rice varieties such as Jasmine Rice 105 (from Yasothorn, Roi-Ed, Srisaket, Surin, Nakornpanom and Nongkhai province), Pan Luer Po Lo Rice (from Maehongson province), Pan Sungyod Rice (from Phatthalung, Trang and Ranong province), Sao Hai Rice (from Saraburi province), Khohhawkordaew Rice (from Pijit province) and etc to display to visitors. The Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), has been assigned to transform 84 different rice varieties into 7 variable foods and desserts.”
Asst. Prof. Ketsara Manantapong, the head of the Department of Foods and Nutrition, RMUTT, told that “the food menus cooked in this event are becoming disappeared k nth society because of non-interest and preference. To conserve these menus, therefore, we decided to make Khoa Naewnanuan, Khoa Too, Krayasart, Khoa Yum Moan (mixed rice), Khoa Pan Sri Park (rice molded like 4 regions in Thailand), Yum Khoa Thod (molded and fired rice mixture), and Khoa Mhok Kai (rice covered by cooked chicken). They are now difficult to meet in the current markets.
Besides 84 rice varieties shown in this events, there is also a display about modeled sufficient economic village, a demonstration of career promotion activities such as the way to reduce the expenses, increase the income, a demonstration of Thai traditional perfume production from flowers, knowledge distribution about herbal abstraction, the examples of nutrition consumption upon the house requirement (the traditional belief upon the housing location) and herbal foods for anti-cancers.
